A Way to Diffuse Intense Emotion

Ever get seriously angry?  Or crying and can't stop?  Or any intense negative emotion?  If you want it to stop, get out an ice pack and put it right on the top of your head.  Leave it there for a few minutes.  You'll feel that emotion slowly melt away.  As long as you let it, that is.  If you keep yelling at someone, the ice pack isn't going to help.  But if you put it on your head and try your best to stay calm, in a few minutes, you will be.  Neat, huh?

  1. Hey, this really works! I put it right on my head, closed my eyes and did some deep breathing and could feel the anger dissipating in just a few minutes. :)

By the way, where did the poll go? I really loved that thing!

    1. Pretty cool, huh?
The poll closed and I couldn't think of a good new one and no one responded to it anyway, so I got rid of it. Got a good suggestion for a new one?

  2. How about: What color glasses do you wear most of the time? Emotion Colored Glasses, Rose Colored Glasses (Everything's Great!), Crap Colored Glasses (Everything Stinks!), or No Glasses, My Eyes Are Closed.

    1. Awesome! What about opaque colored glasses (repression)?
